Wet and slippery conditions made it a real cross-country day at Scarborough Park, Ramsgate. Grey skies
and rain showers added wintry difficulties to the afternoon.
This was certainly not an afternoon to be looking at your watch for a time. Far from it as taking your
eyes off the course meant a probable slip and fall at every turn and sometimes even on the limited
straights. Not a day for trying to avoid puddles either as the safest option was to plough straight
through.
Highlights included Naomi Tancred 1st place in the Womens – Allcomers 10km and the Men’s 40 – 49yrs Team – 1st place.
