What a beautiful day for the NSW Cross Country Relays at The Armoury, Homebush! We were treated to sunny skies, a light breeze and great conditions, although the course, while relatively dry, was still quite soft underfoot and made for some tough running.
A huge congratulations to all of our Athletics East athletes who showed fantastic teamwork, determination and support for each other throughout the day. Flexibility was definitely the name of the game, with a few last-minute changes to teams, including some made as we were lining up to start. Everyone took it in their stride and gave it their all.
To top it all off, every one of our teams finished on the podium—an outstanding result! It also helps strengthen our position at the top of the premiership table, with just two events left in the season.
Well done to everyone for another great day representing Athletics East!15_CC Relays
