With Treloar Shield taking centre stage, it was good to see members traveling about and taking part in other events.
Karel took advantage of some good conditions to break both his 100 & 2oo records at the High Velocity Meet at Barden Ridge. We had a handful of members tackling the 3km champs at ES Marks with Nero & Bronwyn making their debuts in this event for the club. Dasun travelled to the Gold Coast for the Pan Pacific Games and picked up a handy PB in the 200, although it had a +3.1 tailwind and another in the 800m.
Fantastic to see so many members taking up the Treloar challenge enabling the club to make the finals in both 35-49 & 50+ categories for the first time. Onwards to the final now on the 14th December. 03_Nov24
