The NSW All School Championships kicked the 2024/2025 season off at the end of September early October and our junior athletes performed exceptionally well. Coco Espie came away with 5 gold medals, Jeremy Lentham finished 2nd in the 800 with a superb time of 2.04.68. Emmanuel Moros ran up to his best against stiff opposition.
The Treloar Shield then took centre stage and AE athletes responded to the challenge to get two teams to the final this year. Dan Hogg appears to have made it his mission to compete in practically every event, many others also trying new events which has resulted in our impressive point score tally. We have also had several new members taking part and contributing to the team effort. After three rounds the over 50 team and over 35 teams are in great shape and we are well placed to achieve a finals berth in both categories.
Moving interstate has not stopped Jane Boyd from competing, taking part in the Alice Springs Masters Games and setting O’60 records in the process.01_Oct24
