Conditions returned to the norm for this event with warm temperatures and sunny blue skies. It was only the second time this year after having to compete in true winter conditions for most of the previous events.
The AE performances mirrored the spectacular day with similar efforts. Team spirit was high and well reflected by the medal performances from the Female 40 + and Male 50+ teams. Male 60+, 40+ and Female 50+ were full of commitment and brave runs. Special thanks to Mons and Lyn for running and getting around the course to assure a finish for the 50+ Female team, also to Rebecca, Campbell and Chammy for doubling and running in two age group teams to get them over the line
Updated pointscores (unofficial) have, with only the half marathon to come.
Female 30+ – 2nd, 40+ – 1st, 50+ – 1st
Male 40+ – 2nd, 50+ – 1st, 60+ – 4th15_Road Relays
