This was the second event of the ANSW winter competition and important for team placings in the overall point score. AE athletes did not disappoint with excellent runs to fitness levels on the day.
Peter Sweeny led the 50+ Male team who were all closely packed behind into the stadium to secure a team gold, Special mention to Lewis backing up from his sub 3 hr Ballarat marathon and securing a sub 39 min 10km. Very competitive age group run by Wayne Cooper.
Not to be outdone the Female 40+team, ably led by Bronwyn Lee, also secured the team gold.
Congratulations to Joshua Anderson and Chris Monk on their debut runs, representing AE in the Community category.
