Ted Simmons was a well respected life member of the club, very generous with his time and knowledge and always happy to share his experiences with you. He volunteered at all levels in various sports, particularly athletics and football (soccer), from club to international level. A lifetime dedication to sports administration earned him an OAM in 2006 and dozens of other awards in recognition of his achievements. Ted sadly passed away this month, aged 97. Condolences to family and friends.
